Note: Today’s quote is more negative than positive – so Read at your own risk. It will bring some old memories back to people which might hurt – so the note.
Yesterday I witnessed the power of Love – Both Good and Bad side to it. It is interesting to know that there is some feeling that bonds you to the other person in ways which defies logic. If you don’t believe it read further – Love commanded one of my friend in India to send cake and flowers to her boyfriend here in USA. How sweet and surprising is that? On the other hand, the destructive side to it – I saw a friend shattered and crumbled to her bits, cause someone she loved, hurt her and went away. People tend to play blame games and talk bad about the other person and what not to feel good – but nobody sees the fact that – while playing that move – who ever’s fault it was – someone was hurt – a bond of trust was broken – the confidence was shaken – a scar was left, which possibly would never heal. It’s hard to bring someone out of their “self-destruct” mode after this, but you know, there’s always light at the end of tunnel. Life’s not over, it was not the last stand. Hope will preside, and we, your friends, will stood by for you!
Now the quote:
“If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don’t, they never were.” – David Harkins.
I plead guilty that I am sending a quote today which is more negative than positive today, but I felt I need to get my friend back up and running. And she needs to realize the fact that even if she thinks there are few friends of her around, the “few” are good enough to hold her and get her through. 🙂
